Welcome to Bruce Bramfield Home & Gifts, a shop of treasures for your home, family and friends.
Here you will find homeware and stylishly useful gifts but always with our environment in mind; we favour recycled, recyclable, reusable, biodegradable and sustainably sourced materials for both our products and packaging wherever we can.
Our customers are at the heart of what we do; we design all of our products ourselves with care and many of our items feature prints of our hand drawn illustrations.
We are a family run business based in beautiful rural Norfolk and we take a lot of inspiration from the countryside and wildlife around us.
We take enormous pride in the presentation of our homewares making them ideal gifts too. So whether it’s a present for a loved one or a treat for yourself, we hope the arrival of a Bruce Bramfield gift will always feel special.
All of our textile and tableware products are printed in Britain while our Greetings Cards, Luxury Gift Wrap Sets and Notebooks are all printed at our studio in Norfolk.
We hope you enjoy exploring our online shop.
Our Environment
As well as recycling as much as we can, we try to make as little adverse impact on our environment as possible.
None of us are perfect when it comes to environmental matters but we are great believers that if everyone ‘did their bit’ and applied a little more thought to the issues that we face then the planet would be healthier for all of us.
Our commitment at Bruce Bramfield Home & Gifts is that we will continue to learn and adapt as time progresses so that we can lessen our impact on the environment.
All about our Products
When we design a product we spend time researching how the materials needed might be obtained in a more environmentally friendly way.
We order items in bulk whenever possible to save on CO2 emissions and we like to use manufacturers and suppliers that share our ethos.
Our Tea Towels are made from organic cotton fabric so we know that fewer chemicals are used in the creation of those products. The research that we have carried out also indicates that the manufacture of organic products often goes hand in hand with better rights for workers involved in those industries.
We use recycled card and paper for our greetings cards, envelopes and notebooks. If we cannot use recycled paper or card for a particular purpose then we try to source materials that are certified by recognised organisations such as the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) which promotes responsible forest management including consideration for the environment.
All about our Packaging
We think carefully about our packaging:
-Our gift tissue wrap is 100% recycled;
-Our gift boxes are made of at least 40% recycled materials and some are even 99% recycled. Our gift boxes are also reusable and recyclable;
– Our product tags and labels are made from recycled paper and we tie these with either natural jute string or a biodegradable clear sticker;
-We use recycled and recyclable brown wrapping paper for some of our posted items;
-The clear protective wrappers we use to wrap some of products are biodegradable and compostable;
-We use recycled and recyclable plastic bags for our mail bags and limit use of these only to when absolutely necessary for safe transport of our products.
What we need to work on
We don’t claim to have everything right when it comes to looking after our environment. It’s a fact that everything we do comes at a cost to the planet. For example, using recycled paper for our products and packaging may be more sustainable for wood resources; however we need to consider the CO2 emissions produced (and chemicals used) in the process of creating the recycled paper. Sometimes the materials and products we would prefer to use aren’t available locally or even at all and some alternatives that would be better for our environment haven’t been identified – yet. Our aim is to learn as we grow and be transparent with our customers. If you see something that we could do better, let us know!

Bruce Bramfield’s story
I’m Aimee, the founder of Bruce Bramfield Home & Gifts. After working as a Corporate and Commercial Solicitor for over ten years, I decided it was time to explore my other loves of art, design and interiors. Life is too short for thinking ‘what if’!
I settled in Norfolk over 20 years ago. Later my boyfriend (now my husband) moved here and now we are very fortunate to be raising our small children in a village surrounded by stunning countryside. I am very lucky to have had the full support of my fantastic husband, lovely parents and wider family and friends in creating ‘Bruce Bramfield Home & Gifts’.
Our company name is taken from two of our beloved family labradors that have long since passed but whose adventures and exploits left with us memories that will last a lifetime.
